“Hi, I’m Kiran! I’m 10 years old, and I love taking public transport with my friends and family!”
Volunteering alongside his father on weekends has taught Kiran that even the smallest gestures can brighten someone’s day. This realisation has fuelled his passion for showing care to fellow commuters, turning ordinary commutes into extraordinary experiences.

One such moment occurred during a bus journey with his mother. As the bus approached the next stop, Kiran noticed a young girl in distress— the strap of her school bag got stuck between the seats. Seeing her panic, Kiran immediately stepped in. He approached her and asked if he could help, before carefully freeing her bag from the seat gap. He then alerted the bus driver that she needed to alight, and ensured she got off safely. In those few moments, Kiran showed that compassion is a language that transcends age, and his caring act left a lasting impact on a fellow commuter.

Kiran reminds us that anyone—no matter how young—can make public transport journeys smoother and more heartwarming. His belief that small efforts can make a meaningful difference inspires his friends and family to be equally observant and proactive. Let Kiran’s story inspire you to create your own moments of care.
