Caring Commuter Week 2026

Organised by the Caring SG Commuters Committee, the Caring Commuter Week (CCW) is an annual event which aims to foster a more gracious and caring commuting culture in Singapore.
Caring Commuter Week 2026 is here!
Over the past six years, Caring Commuter Week has brought commuters, volunteers, and partners together around one idea: making public transport more gracious and more caring for everyone.
Building on this shared commitment, Caring Commuter Week 2026 shines a spotlight on commuters living with dementia and the challenges they may face when travelling on public transport. Through greater awareness, understanding and patience, we can all play a part in making their journeys more comfortable, inclusive and reassuring.
Let’s take this opportunity to learn how we can better support them and continue extending care to one another, not just during Caring Commuter Week, but on every journey.

What to expect:
Dive into our interactive panels and games, and see, up close, what commuting is really like for someone with dementia. From technological innovations to community initiatives, our public transport operators are committed to making sure every commuter feels safe and supported.

Caring Commuter Award Winners 2026
The Caring Commuter Award recognises commuters who have demonstrated acts of care to others in need during their daily commute on public transport.
Who will be recognised for their heartwarming acts of care this year? Stay tuned as we unveil the winners of the Caring Commuter Award 2026 on 21 November 2026!
Caring SG Commuters Partners Award 2026
The Caring SG Commuters Partners Award aims to recognise partners who have actively supported the Caring SG Commuters Movement and contributed significantly to extending its reach to a wider audience.
Stay tuned as the recipient of the Caring SG Commuters Partners Award is announced on 21 November 2026.
CCW 2026 Highlights
Caring on The Move
From 16 to 20 November 2026, the "Caring on the Move" roving bus exhibition brings the message of care and inclusivity directly to schools islandwide.
Packed with interactive, gamified installations, this 30-minute experience helps students understand what it means to be a caring commuter, with a special focus on how they can assist vulnerable passengers, including persons with dementia.

UNIQLO x LTA UTme! Collection
We've partnered with UNIQLO to launch the Care is Everywhere collection, a limited-edition UTme! collaboration that celebrates the spirit of care woven into our everyday journeys across Singapore.
Each design draws inspiration from an iconic MRT station, and each carries its own story of care:

Young ChangeMakers – Caring SG Commuters Grant
Inspired to do more? Turn your ideas into action
Caring Commuter Week may last just one week, but building a more gracious, caring and inclusive commuting culture continues all year round.
If you are aged 15 to 35 and have an idea that could make a difference, the Young ChangeMakers – Caring SG Commuters Grant could help bring it to life, with funding of up to $7,000 for youth-led projects.
